Getting Started with FiveM: License and Basic Setup
🎮 What do you need to get your FiveM server running?
FiveM requires a free Cfx.re license to work. Without this key, the server won't start. The process is simple and you only have to do it once.🔑 1. Get your FiveM license
Go to keymaster.fivem.net and log in with your FiveM account. If you don't have an account, create one free at forum.cfx.re.In the Keymaster, click New Server and fill in:
- Server IP: Your ZentexNode server IP (shown at the top of the panel).
- Server Label: A name to identify your server (just for you).
cfxk_.⚙️ 2. Enter the license in the panel
In the ZentexNode panel, go to the Startup tab and find the FIVEM_LICENSE variable. Paste yourcfxk_... key there. Save and restart the server.🖥️ 3. Access txAdmin
txAdmin is the FiveM admin panel included with your server. To access it:- In the ZentexNode panel, go to the Console tab.
- Look for a line saying
txAdminfollowed by a URL likehttp://IP:40120. - Open that URL in your browser.
- The first time it asks for a 4-digit PIN shown in the panel console.
📋 4. Basic setup from txAdmin
Once inside txAdmin:- Server: Set your server's public name and the max number of players.
- Restart Schedule: Schedule automatic restarts (for example, every 24 hours).
- Admins: Add your administrators using their FiveM Identifier.
🌐 5. Connect to the server
Open FiveM on your computer, go to Server browser and search for the name you gave it, or use the direct address:connect IP:PORT in the FiveM console (F8 in game).💡 Next steps
