My Server is Suspended: Causes and Solutions

⏸️ What does it mean for a server to be suspended?

A suspended server is paused, not deleted. Your data, world, plugins and configuration remain intact. The server simply can't be started until the cause of the suspension is resolved.

🔍 Most common causes of suspension

1. Service not renewed (the most frequent)
If your plan's expiry date passed without being renewed, the server is suspended automatically. Solution: renew your service following the steps in the article "How to Renew Your Service".

2. Excessive resource usage
If your server sustainedly consumes more CPU or RAM than assigned in your plan, it may be suspended to protect the other users on the node. In this case, contact support to check whether you need a higher plan or if there's a technical issue to solve.

3. Terms of service violation
Using the server for prohibited activities (DDoS attacks, hosting illegal content, etc.) results in immediate suspension.

📩 How do I know why my server was suspended?

When your server is suspended, the ZentexNode bot automatically sends you a direct message on Discord explaining the reason. Check your direct messages. If you haven't received it (you have DMs disabled), open a ticket on Discord.

🔓 How to reactivate your server

If it was due to non-payment:

1. Open a Renewal ticket on Discord.
2. Pay for the pending month.
3. Attach the receipt in the ticket.
4. An admin will reactivate the server within minutes.

If it was for another reason:

1. Open a Technical Service or General Help ticket on Discord.
2. Explain the situation and ask them to review the reason.
3. The staff will tell you the steps to follow.

⏳ How much time do I have before my data is deleted?

After suspension for non-payment, the data remains saved during a grace period. We don't publicly reveal the exact period to prevent abuse, but we guarantee enough time for any customer to renew without losing their work. If you have doubts, contact the staff as soon as possible.

💡 How to avoid future suspensions

• Enable Discord direct message notifications to receive expiry alerts.
• Renew a few days before the expiry date.
• If you have a one-off financial problem, talk to the staff — we're flexible with regular customers.
